This early season Thanet event was hotly contested despite a bitterly cold day, with only one second separating the winning pair from the runners up. Any money observed changing hands before the result was posted was entirely coincidental… although Dave has asked that competitors attempting bribes should be more discreet in future please. The results were:

2nd Gary Chalkley and Malcolm Davies 20:54

Thanet riders Andrew Macpherson and Colin Inett recorded 25:04, earning them 2nd place on age standard.
