On a particularly clement morning expectations were high for the old Thanet Way course, but unfortunately the wind was too light to power a 'flyer' on the outbound leg. Phil Bull was fastest with 21:29. Jason Wares was the fastest Thanet rider (reinforcing his grip on the '10' championship), with 24:15. Andy Burrows and Sid Toole recorded 24:59 and 26:35 respectively.
