Thanks to Colin and Simon for reporting on this morning's ride, blended account follows...

3 TRC riders were out this morning with 57 others for the annual ‘character building’ ride (thanks for the quote Colin) on the Harrietsham 50 course. A tough day on a tough course reflected in the times. In spite of 14 of the entrants showing a sub 2 hr LTS there was only one sub 2 hr ride There was a strong cross wind that gave a bit of help in a few places (down the hill, twice). Most riders (except the winner looking at his time) thought it was tough ride. The provisional winning time was 01:55:54 – a phenomenal ride by J.White – Cycle Premier, Simon's minute man who had powered past by the top of Harrietsham hill!
